Method
No psychometric testing, as the firm's FAQ says. After the application form, an online assessment built for the firm: a situational judgement test set around a simulated pro bono case (untimed), a behavioural assessment of preference-type questions, and a short timed video interview question at the end. It must be completed within 72 hours of applying. Then an assessment day with an interview, a written task and a presentation. Open-day attendees skip the test for a vacation scheme application in the same year.

Rare's development programme for Black African, Black Caribbean and mixed Black heritage students in their first year of a three-year course (second year of a four-year course), with AAA at A level or 38 IB points, contextualised.
