Run with Barclays through Aspiring Solicitors, so you need to be an Aspiring Solicitors member to apply. For second year law undergraduates or final year non-law undergraduates, with ABB at A level and on track for a 2.1, taking mitigating circumstances into account. Not open to anyone who has already done a Pinsent Masons placement or training contract interview, or who holds a training contract. Mentoring from Pinsent Masons and Barclays professionals, plus sessions on commercial awareness and how AI is used in practice.

Applications close 9 September 2026 at midday

A six-week paid placement in the London, Birmingham or Leeds office for 10,000 Interns Foundation members, from penultimate-year law students to graduates. Register with the Foundation, which allocates interns to firms, and apply to Pinsent Masons within its window. The placement is a route to a training contract starting September 2029.

Applications open 15 September 2026 and close 2 December 2026 at midday. The placement runs 28 June to 6 August 2027.

A paid summer placement in a UK office for Year 12 and 13 students (S5 and S6 in Scotland) who meet the PRIME criteria: shadowing a practice area, working with a supervisor, group exercises and CV and interview advice. English office places are filled through the Sutton Trust's Pathways to Law; Belfast through Business in the Community.
