“An application form reviewed with the REALrating contextual system, then an online critical thinking test sent to every candidate once applications close, then a recorded video interview of about ten minutes, then an onsite assessment day. The firm names no vendor.”
Tests
For first-year A-level students at state schools, sixth forms or colleges with mostly grade 9 to 6 GCSEs, little or no family history of higher education and an interest in law. A three-day virtual programme with apprentices, trainees, partners, clients and barristers, one-to-one coaching and goal-setting.
Applications for the 2027 scheme open 14 December 2026. The virtual scheme runs over Easter 2027.
For selected Unlocked participants: university tuition fees for the duration of a degree, mentors from the firm and vacation scheme opportunities.
